FREE Photograhphy show in Hammersmith next Saturday (18th Jan2025)

Saturday 18th Jan in Hammersmith is the annual 'Societies' convention and trade show . The trade show has stands from most camera and lighting manufactures as well as some free talks and demonstrations. For anyone interested in photography it's well worth a visit. How to make video editing easier in one step

Editing videos is complicated. It's made more complicated by all the files you have to deal with, and loose, and accidentally delete. All those clips, sound files, images, project files, folders, all spread over different drives. How are you meant to keep up with them all?? The answer? Organise first. Yep, before you shoot a second of footage, make a place for all of your files to live. I'd suggest the folder structure below. It covers all the common files you'll have and you can always add to it. Premiere Pro Project Assets - Images and text file go in here Final Videos - Exported videos go in here Footage - Raw video from your camera goes here Music - Audio files and music videos go here Project Files - The Adobe .pprj files go in here SFX - Sound effects files go here I've made a copy of this structure in mediashare/resources.
